About Shamanic Extracts

Discover the ancient wisdom of ethically sourced ethnobotanicals, cherished for thousands of years. These plants have traditionally been used for smudging, adorning altars, and preparing sacred sacraments. At Shamanic Extracts, we bring this botanical heritage together with online ordering and worldwide delivery.

We specialize in sacred ethnobotanicals, seeds, herbs, plants, and rare and exotic offerings, including Salvia divinorum and other distinctive extracts. Our interest spans ancient and sacred plants, entheogens, essential oils, incenses, and seeds, each with its own history of traditional use.

Why ethnobotanicals matter

For centuries, Indigenous communities have valued these plants for their nourishing, healing, and transformative roles in traditional life. Often described as the “food of the gods,” they hold profound cultural and spiritual significance. In shamanic traditions, some are associated with altered consciousness and access to spiritual realms.

These cultural histories are central to ethnobotany. Our library explores them alongside botanical identity and research, with respect for the communities whose knowledge keeps these traditions alive.

Our commitment to quality and ethics

We believe the traditions surrounding these plants can help people reconnect with nature and explore spiritual questions. We source materials from around the world, prioritizing cultivation without chemicals and responsible wild-crafting. Many products are imported directly from their regions of origin, preserving their authenticity and connection to traditional knowledge.

We support Indigenous communities through our work with ethnobotanicals. Our own standardized extracts are manufactured in-house, with attention to batch consistency, identity, and purity. We source directly, keep storage chains short, and label batches clearly.
